    Description

    The Thatcher Glass Co., going back to the 1800's, became the first company to use automatic machinery to produce milk bottles with uniform thickness making them less likely to break during transit.  Thatcher once produced 50% of the milk bottles in the U.S.  This lifter was produced to remove milk bottle caps.  This may have been an advertising give a way.
